Autumn Mist Run 2020
Mick Dughan has sent a short report for this event.
Sunday October 4th started grey and
drizzling, in tune with the name of the run. This didn’t deter
12 of us, including 2 new friends from Tamworth, setting of from
Conkers at Moira on a 40 mile run, led by Mick Leach through the
country lanes of Leicestershire. The drizzle persisted for
most of the time but everyone got round safely and enjoyed getting
out to ride again. It was nice to see Vic back in the saddle again
after his recent operation. After all the summer restrictions
things seemed almost normal.
Thanks go to Mick Leach for his excellent run and please put a note
on your calendar for the Frost bite run on November 1st starting
from Tutbury car park at 10:00am. Mick.
I took a few snaps at the start. It was good to see that we had quite a reasonable turnout of riders on a day when the weather forecast hadn't been very good. Eddy
