Ken Taylor Norton 250cc Special

This bike is very interesting because it has an outside flywheel with twin cam and twin plug head. Originally it was fitted with cut down Norton Roadholder front forks but now sports Reynolds Earles type forks designed and built by Ken Sprayson. The bike was built with the help of Joe Potts who was a friend of Ken Taylor who successfully raced a Velocette MOV in the 1950’s and had a motorcycle dealership in Rhyl North Wales. The machine is very similar to that raced by Frank Cope in South Africa after his UK age ban.
