August 28th was our Last of the summer wine run. Unfortunately I was away but going on what I’ve been told it went very well. Thirty-two bikes left Marston’s, Mick Leach led them on a very pleasant ride around the local lanes, finishing up back at Marston’s. Here forty members enjoyed a plate of chip butties. Sorry I missed it.
On the 2nd of September we had the Draycote show. We put on a good selection of bikes, ranging from a very nice 1930 Sunbeam, a selection of B.S.A’s, two combination’s, one of which was a very special Velocette and a couple of Japanese bikes. All in all it was a good day out. Vic
