October 2017
Many thanks to Pat and Shelly for having our annual barbecue at their home with good weather, good food and good company. We had a great day out.
On August 13th 23 bikes turned up for the Tax Dodgers run. Mick Leach led us on a very pleasant ride around Derbyshire. We stopped to look at the view over the Tittesworth reservoir and the Roaches. Two other riders joined us there. Moving on we stopped for lunch at the Navigation Inn at Buxworth. On our return we called at the Manifold valley centre, a lovely ex-railway station now a café, for a cup of tea and a cake.
August 22nd was the Last of the Summer Wine run. Charles Parker led 25 bikes around the Staffordshire lanes with Ian Baxter and his dog Willie in the sidecar as the tail man. We finished up at the Mount Pleasant for chip butties and drink.
