November 2017 Section Notes

At 7:30am on the17th September 13 riders left Marston’s on the Grand Day Out run led by Mick Leach. They called at the truck stop for breakfast then over Rhos-y-Gwabau to Lake Vynwy for tea.  We made our way home stopping at Eccleshall for further refreshments. A great day out.
On September 24th another early start with 22 bikes setting off on the Breakfast Run. The route was about 60 miles around Staffordshire and Derbyshire and back to Marston’s to meet with family members for a fantastic breakfast.
On October first 8  bikes left Conkers on the Autumn Mist run organized and led by Richard Ballard.  The light rain had almost stopped when we left so we had very pleasant ride through Leicestershire to Wymondham Mill. After lunch we headed for Whissendine Mill where Nigel the miller explained all the workings of the mill.  From there we had a steady ride home. A very pleasant day out.
