May 2018 Section Notes
The speaker on the March club night was Scott Ellis. He told us how his father who worked for Royal Enfield and later at Umberslade Hall got him into trials riding. Scott spent over forty years riding for Ariel, Triumph, B.S.A., Puch and Greeves but was best known for winning the British Experts trials on a B.S.A. 250 in 1965. A very interesting talk.
On March the 27th we had a cheese night which was well attended with over forty people who enjoyed a great variety of cheese put on by Mark. The raffle on the night made £130 towards this year’s charity.
