Hatton Carnival 2019
John Earp has sent a short report and some photographs from the above event, have a look and see if you are there.
A mix of British, Italian and East German
bikes attended the Hatton carnival today on the VMCC stand.
First duty was to lead the carnival procession around Hatton - we
were followed by a fire engine and were told if it’s sirens sounded
to scatter quickly as the fire engine was on active duty and would
need to overtake us fast!
In the event it was not needed and after a leisurely ride round the
route we parked back on the field. The weather stayed fine and
we had time to answer questions about our bikes, sample the food and
drink on offer and view the Spitfire that made a special appearance
over the carnival field. We departed for home around 5pm after
a very enjoyable day. John Earp
