September 2018 Notes
First of all I must apologise to those that
turned up on the July club night expecting a car park concourse. This was a miss understanding on my part. I thought the car park
concourse had been discontinued, so didn’t come prepared.
On July 24th we had the Pie and Peas run. Brian Slack
organised the food with Richard Ballard plotting and leading the
route. Richard led 23 bikes and 1 car on a very pleasant ride around
Staffordshire and Derbyshire finishing up back at Marston’s.
We met up with family members making a total of 43 that sat down and
enjoyed the delicious steak pie, chips and pies. All in all a
very good event. The raffle on the night made £100 towards this
year’s charity. Vic
