APMC Many Rivers to Cross Run

A super run organised by Pat and Shelley Robotham.  There is always an interesting theme to their runs and this year it was rivers.  Several Burton Section VMCC members joined the run.  Hot drinks and much talking preceded the start of the run down mostly minor roads.  (Some more minor than others.)
The run of approximately 45 miles was blessed with beautiful weather and afforded us great views of the countryside.
The finish was at the The Blythe Inn where we enjoyed a meal and drinks.
For those that like to know these things the rivers we crossed were:  Blythe (twice), Tean (twice), Croxton Brook, Churnet (twice), Dove (twice), Henmore Brook, Hockley Brook and Tad Brook.  We also passed very close to the river Hamps.
Eddy.

Brian Slack was on hand in his usual "candid camera" guise.  Brian's photographs are below.
